NBA: New Jersey 98, Orlando 92

ORLANDO, Fla., March 13 (UPI) -- Vince Carter had 33 points and seven rebounds Sunday night to lead the New Jersey Nets to a 98-82 victory over the Orlando Magic.

It was the 27th time in his last 29 games Carter has scored at least 20 points.

New Jersey won for just the second time in its last six games.

Jacque Vaughn scored 22 points for the Nets. Jason Kidd added 14 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and five steals.

Grant Hill and Hedo Turkoglu each had 23 points for Orlando, which has lost four straight games.
