Mickelson leads Woods by 2 at Doral

MIAMI, March 5 (UPI) -- Sunday's final at Doral has Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods in the final twosome with Mickelson holding a two-shot lead.

Mickelson had a 6-under 66 Saturday for a three-round total of 20-under 196. Woods gained ground with a 9-under 63 to stand at 198.

Woods is currently the No. 2 player in the world and Mickelson is No. 4.

At the 2000 Tour Championship, Mickelson became the second player ever to beat Woods when Woods had at least a share of the third-round lead.

"I'm looking forward to tomorrow," said Mickelson. "It's fun for me to compete head-to-head with him."

Defending champion Craig Parry shot a 5-under 67 and is tied for third place with Zach Johnson (64) and James Driscoll (67) at 14-under 202.

Singh shot 68 on Saturday and shares sixth place with Jim Furyk (67) and Jose Maria Olazabal (70) at 203.
