COL BKB: Pittsburgh 72, Boston College 50

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass., Feb. 28 (UPI) -- The 24th-ranked Pittsburgh Panthers ended fifth-ranked Boston College's 19-game home winning streak Monday with a 72-50 victory over the Eagles.

Antonio Graves had 13 points to lead Pittsburgh's balanced scoring. Chris Taft added 12 points and eight rebounds and Chevon Troutman had 11 points and seven rebounds.

Pittsburgh (19-7, 9-6 Big East) was coming off three straight losses.

Craig Smith scored 22 points for the Eagles (23-3, 12-3), who have split their last six games following a 20-0 start to the season.

Boston College hit just 19-of-61 (31 percent) of its field-goal attempts and suffered its first home defeat since Feb. 14, 2004.
