Second round of Nissan Open completed

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- The second round of the PGA Nissan Open was completed Sunday with Chad Campbell and Adam Scott tied for the lead.

The plan was to begin the third round immediately and play into Monday, if necessary, to get in 54 holes.

However more rain is forecast for the area on Monday. If the third round is not completed, Campbell and Scott will have a playoff.

Scott, finishing his second round Sunday, birdied the final hole for a five-under 66. Campbell shot a 65 Friday. The lead is nine-under 133.

Darren Clarke shot a 68 and is tied for third with Brian Davis, the first-round leader. Davis shot a 69 and matched Clarke at 8-under 134.

There was a two-hour weather delay Sunday as overnight rain left the course unplayable.
