COL BKB: Geo. Tech 102, Wake For. 101 (OT)

ATLANTA, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Two free throws by Jarrett Jack with 4.4 seconds left in overtime Thursday night gave No. 21 Georgia Tech a dramatic, 102-101 win over Wake Forest.

Fifth-ranked Wake Forest fell behind by 15 in the first five minutes of the game, but battled back with Eric Williams scoring 27 points. The Demon Deacons forced overtime when Taron Downey made two free throws with 19 seconds to play.

Georgia Tech ended a three-game losing streak while improving to 12-5 and to 3-3 in the ACC. Wake Forest is 16-3 and 4-2.

Will Bynum scored a career-best 30 for the Yellow Jackets and Jack had 23.

Wake Forest scored only on a single three-pointer in overtime and did not register a point over the final four minutes.
