NBA: Toronto 100, Minnesota 91

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Donyell Marshall made 6-of-8 three-point shots and wound up with 22 points Monday to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 100-91 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Chris Bosh had 19 points and 11 rebounds for Toronto, which won for the first time in nine all-time trips to Minnesota. Rafer Alston added 18 points and 15 assists and Jalen Rose added 16 points for the Raptors, who have won six of their last eight games.

Wally Szczerbiak led the Timberwolves with 25 points. Kevin Garnett added 20 points and 14 rebounds for Minnesota, which has lost eight of its last 11 games.

The Timberwolves trailed by 15 points early in the third quarter, before going on a 21-8 burst to pull within 68-66 with 3 1/2 minutes left in the period.
