DENVER, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Corey Maggette's 33 points and 11 rebounds led the Los Angeles Clippers to a 102-98 win over Denver Monday.

Elton Brand added 21 points and 13 rebounds for the Clippers.

Denver took the lead for good with a 14-4 run late in the game.

Carmelo Anthony led the Nuggets with 21 points. Denver has lost eight of its last nine games.
