NFL: San Diego 31, Tampa Bay 24

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Donnie Edwards had two interceptions Sunday with one returned for a 30-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter as San Diego beat Tampa Bay, 31-24.

LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown for Chargers (10-3), who have won seven straight games and lead the AFC West by two games.

Drew Brees was 17-of-23 for 220 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Chargers, who have won 10 games in a season for the first time since 1994 when the club finished 11-5 and reached Super Bowl XXIX.

Brian Griese was 36-of-50 for 392 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions for the Buccaneers (5-8), who have lost two of their last three games.
