NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- A tip-in by Steve Francis with 2.7 seconds remaining Friday night gave Orlando a 90-89 win over New Orleans.
Orlando is off to a 2-0 start and both victories have come on a successful shot in the final seconds. Hedo Turkoglu paced Orlando with 21 points and Francis had 19.

The Hornets wasted a 36-point effort by Baron Davis, who also dished out seven assists. David Wesley and Jamaal Magloire scored 13 points each for New Orleans.
New Orleans rallied from an 11-point deficit early in the fourth period and took an 89-88 lead with 18 seconds to go when Wesley hit a three-pointer.
Francis then won it by tipping in a miss by Pat Garrity.
