COL FB: Auburn 35, Ole Miss 14

OXFORD, Miss., Oct. 31 (UPI) -- The Auburn Tigers won 35-14 over the Ole Miss Rebels in a Southeastern Conference battle at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss., Saturday.

Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown combined for 196 rushing yards and two touchdowns as the Tigers (9-0, 6-0 SEC) clinched at least a share of the SEC West title and a spot in the conference championship game with their 11th straight win.

Williams rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, while also catching two passes for 70 yards in the win. He also racked up 72 yards on six punt returns.

Quarterback Jason Campbell was 11-of-22 passing for 234 yards and a score, also ran for two scores.

For the Rebels, (3-5, 2-3) Ethan Flatt threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns on 12-of-20 passing.

Robert Lane, one of three Ole Miss quarterbacks in the game, was sacked four times while completing 5-of-9 passes for 52 yards with an interception. The Tigers' defense sacked Ole Miss quarterbacks seven times for 40 yards.
