BALTIMORE, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Johnny Damon drove in three runs and Boston beat Baltimore 7-5 Saturday in the opener of a doubleheader.
The Red Sox scored six runs in a second-inning rally that included a two-run single by Damon.

Miguel Tejada, B.J. Surhoff and Javy Lopez hit home runs for Baltimore.
Terry Adams (6-4) was the winning pitcher in relief. Keith Foulke got his 32nd save.
Daniel Cabrera (12-8) took the loss.
