TORONTO, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Ted Lilly threw eight shutout innings Wednesday night in helping Toronto end a four-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over Baltimore.
Lilly (11-10) allowed eight hits while striking out six. For the first time since May, Lilly has won two games in a row. Justin Speier gave up two hits in the ninth, but still recorded his sixth save.

Matt Riley (1-4) suffered a hard luck loss, giving up one run in seven innings. Baltimore lost for the fifth time in seven games.
Toronto managed just five hits.
