MLB: NY Yankees 10, Tampa Bay 5 (2nd Game)

NEW YORK, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Derek Jeter went three for five with a homer Thursday night as the New York Yankees beat Tampa Bay, 10-5, in the second game of a double header.

John Flaherty had three hits with a home run, helping the Yankees win for the fifth time in seven games. They won the opener, 9-1.

The win went to reliever Tanyon Sturtze (6-2), who worked 3 2/3 scoreless innings. He came on for Brad Halsey, who gave up three runs on seven hits in 3 1/3.
