Fisher suffered the injury in the first half of Monday's 24-7 loss to Kansas City. Rookie DeJuan Groce will succeed him in the lineup.

Fisher, a second round pick by the Rams in the 2002 NFL draft, started 15 games last season and had four interceptions to tie for the team lead.
