Brito gave Arizona the lead for good in the seventh inning with a one-out solo homer off Jon Lieber (5-4). He added an RBI single in the eighth, when the Diamondbacks scored four times to put away the game.

Steve Finley, who went seven for 13 in the series, had three hits and Danny Bautista drove in a pair of runs as the Diamondbacks won for the sixth time in 10 games.

It was the first appearance for Bautista since he was hit in the head by New York starter Jose Contreras early in Tuesday's series opener.
