MLB: Philadelphia 2, Minnesota 1

MINNEAPOLIS, June 13 (UPI) -- Chase Utley reached on a potential inning-ending double play Sunday to score the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth as Philadelphia edged Minnesota, 2-1.

Philadelphia split series against Atlanta and the Chicago White Sox but were stymied by starter Brad Radke in the rubber game of a three-game set at the Metrodome. After a one-out walk to Bobby Abreu in the first inning, Radke set down 15 consecutive batters before Jimmy Rollins' one-out single in the sixth.

Making his Phillies' debut, Paul Abbott matched Radke, getting in and out of trouble in four of his five innings but leaving without allowing a run.

Roberto Hernandez replaced Abbott in the sixth and was greeted by Corey Koskie's 11th home run. Ricky Ledee came through for Philadelphia, stroking a two-out single off Radke in the seventh to score Tomas Perez with the tying run.
