MLB: Arizona 3, Baltimore 0

BALTIMORE, June 10 (UPI) -- Steve Finley broke up Daniel Cabrera's no-hit bid with a two-run homer in the seventh Thursday night to help give Arizona a 3-0 win over Baltimore.

Cabrera (3-2) made his sixth major league start -- and first at Camden Yards -- a memorable one by retiring the first 18 batters. He went to a three-ball count just once through the first six innings.

But Cabrera fell behind leadoff hitter Scott Hairston to start the seventh and walked him on five pitches. The rookie may have been bothered by rain that started to fall steadily.

Finley was next and failed to bunt Hairston over, falling into an 0-2 hole. But the former Oriole lined Cabrera's next offering down the right field line and just over the scoreboard for a 2-0 lead.

Alan Zinter added a two-out RBI single for the game's final run.

Casey Fossum (1-4) notched his first win as a Diamondback by yielding just five hits in six innings.
