The Korean righthander has struggled this season, going 2-4 with a 5.80 in eight starts. He is 12-15 with a 6.00 ERA since joining Texas as a free agent in 2002.

Park is the latest player to be sidelined for the Rangers, who have placed rookie catcher Gerald Laird and outfielders Brian Jordan and Kevin Mench on the disabled list in the last six days.
