ANAHEIM, Calif., May 22 (UPI) -- Jose Guillen's two-run single highlighted a four-run eighth inning as the Anaheim Angels rallied for a 5-3 victory late Friday over the Baltimore Orioles.

Baltimore relievers entered with a 10-7 record and 3.11 ERA. Mike DeJean (0-4), one of the Orioles' less effective relievers, surrendered three straight singles before being lifted.

He departed after Vladimir Guerrero's RBI single pulled the Angels within 3-2. Guillen greeted Darwin Cabillan with a base hit to right-center field, giving Anaheim a 4-3 lead. After Guillen stole second, Jose Molina capped the uprising with a run-scoring single.

Scot Shields (4-0) got the win, working 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief of starter Jarrod Washburn.

Bidding to become the major leagues first eight-game winner, Washburn gave up three runs and nine hits in 6 2/3 innings.

Troy Percival gave up a hit and a walk in the ninth but picked up his 11th save in 14 chances.
