MLB: Anaheim 12, Detroit 3

DETROIT, April 29 (UPI) -- The Anaheim Angels scored eight runs in the fourth inning en route to a 12-3 win over the Detroit Tigers Thursday.

Jose Guillen hit a three-run home run, Vladimir Guerrero had four hits, including a homer, and drove in two runs and Darin Erstad had two hits and drove in four runs for Anaheim.

The Angels led 10-0 after four innings.

Jarrod Washburn (4-1) pitched eight innings for Anaheim, giving up three runs and nine hits.

The Angels have won 16 of their last 18 encounters with the Tigers.
