NFL: N.Y. Jets 13, Jacksonville 10

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Chad Pennington threw a four-yard touchdown pass to Santana Moss with 26 seconds left Sunday afternoon as the New York Jets beat Jacksonville, 13-10.

The Jaguars (2-9) seemed to have control of the game after Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala scored the game's first touchdown for a 10-6 lead with 4:24 left. New York turned the ball over on downs on the ensuing possession, but its much-maligned defense prevented Jacksonville from getting into field-goal range, forcing a punt.

The Jets (4-7) took over on their own 6 with three minutes to go and no timeouts remaining. Pennington completed 9-of-11 passes on the improbable drive.

Moss, who had just one prior reception, made a leaping catch, scoring a touchdown for the seventh consecutive game, a franchise record. He leads the AFC with 10 receiving touchdowns this season.

Pennington finished 25-of-39 for 236 yards and one interception. Curtis Martin had seven catches for 52 yards and also rushed for 56.

For the Jaguars, Fred Taylor rushed for 119 yards.
