NFL: New England 30, Denve 26

DENVER, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Tom Brady engineered a last-minute touchdown drive Monday night to rally the New England Patriots to a 30-26 triumph over the Denver Broncos.

New England (7-2) trailed 24-23 with 2:49 left when it decided to take a safety insted of attempting to punt out of the end zone. The Patriots' defense held and got Brady the ball with 2:15 to go.

Brady proceeded to pick apart the Broncos' defense, completing 4-of-5 passes for 58 yards. His last completion was an 18-yard TD strike to David Givens in the left corner of the end zone.

Brady was 20-of-35 for 350 yards and three touchdowns.

Denver (5-4) failed to put the game away in the fourth quarter, twice having drives stall in New England territory.

Clinton Portis led the Broncos' attack with 26 carries for 111 yards and a touchdown.
