NBA: New Jersey 90, Philadelphia 88 (OT)

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Rookie Larry Lewis made two free throws with 12 seconds left in overtime Tuesday to give New Jersey a 90-88 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 76ers held an 88-87 lead when former Sixer Damone Brown was fouled with 13 seconds to go. Brown made the first free throw but missed the second. There was a scramble for the rebound that wound up in the hands of the 6-7 Lewis, a 33-year-old undrafted free agent.
