SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Pedro Feliz snapped a tie with a seventh-inning home run Tuesday night as San Francisco eased past Colorado, 2-1.

In the win, Barry Bonds reached base his first three times. The game was Bonds' first at home since the death of his father on Aug. 23. He received a big ovation before his first at-bat.

Bonds doubled to lead off the second inning and scored the game's first run on a single by Rich Aurilia, who went 4-for-4.

Kevin Correia made his third career start for the Giants and allowed one run and three hits. Jason Christiansen got Larry Walker to start the seventh inning before Rene Reyes and Gregg Zaun singled.

Matt Herges (3-2) was the losing pitcher. Rockies manager Clint Hurdle argued the strikeout of pinch-hitter Greg Norton and was ejected.

Closer Tim Worrell set down the side in order in the ninth for his 33rd save in 39 chances.
