MONTREAL, July 27 (UPI) -- Orlando Cabrera homered and matched a career high with six RBI Sunday as Montreal pounded the Atlanta bullpen in a 13-10 slugfest.
The Braves bolted to a 4-0 lead and were ahead, 8-4, in the sixth with Greg Maddux on the mound. Maddux allowed a two-run homer to Ron Calloway in the bottom of the inning and Ray King (3-1) took over to start the seventh.
King did not retire any of the three batters he faced and fellow relievers Kevin Gryboski and Roberto Hernandez also were ineffective. Gryboski allowed a run while retiring one batter and Hernandez was tagged for three runs and four hits in 1 1/3 innings.
Montreal starter Tomo Ohka was tagged for eight runs and 14 hits in five innings. Julio Manon (1-2) followed with two scoreless frames for his first career victory.
Rocky Biddle worked a perfect ninth for his 25th save.
