PHILADELPHIA, June 22 (UPI) -- Brett Myers pitched a three-hitter for his first shutout and Bobby Abreu, Marlon Byrd and Jimmy Rollins homered Sunday to power Philadelphia, 5-0, over Boston.

Before 60,960 on Steve Carlton bobblehead day at the Vet, Myers (6-6) outdueled Byung-Hyun Kim. The 22-year-old righthander allowed three singles and three walks while striking out five en route to his first win in four starts since June 1.

Just two Red Sox got past first base against Myers, who retired the last 10 batters in pitching his second career complete game.

Abreu scored the only run Myers needed with a solo shot in the third inning and doubled and scored in the sixth to double Philadelphia's lead.

Kim (1-1) exited after the sixth inning and Byrd greeted reliever Ryan Rupe with his first home run since Sept. 12. Myers singled and Rollins homered one out later to cap the scoring.
