Phoenix 88; Portland 81

PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Shawn Marion scored 24 points and Stephon Marbury added 20 Tuesday night to lead Phoenix past Portland, 88-81.

The Suns needed a rally to win the contest, and dominated the fourth quarter. The Trail Blazers had won 10 of their previous 11 games, but had a four-game home winning streak snapped by the red-hot Suns, who have taken 11 of 14 to climb up the Western Conference standings.
