Sacramento 101; Milwaukee 76

MILWAUKEE, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Chris Webber had 18 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists Tuesday night to lead Sacramento to an easy 101-76 rout of Milwaukee.

Webber was impressive after a 10-day layoff as the Kings opened a three-game road trip. They had a six-day break in their schedule before Saturday's game at Denver, and kept Webber out of the last two contests because of a bruised knee.

The All-Star forward played for the first time since De. 28 and hardly looked like he was nursing an injury.

He played a team-high 33 minutes and made 9-of-20 shots. Mike Bibby scored 20 points and Doug Christie added 12 as Sacramento won for the fifth time in six games.

The Kings, who never trailed, had a 45-38 lead with 3:17 left in the second quarter before pulling away with an 11-4 run. Bibby scored five points and Webber buried two jumpers during the burst, which gave Sacramento a 56-42 cushion.

The Kings carried a 12-point lead into halftime, and the Bucks got no closer thereafter.

Ray Allen scored 16 points and Anthony Mason added 13 as Milwaukee played without point guard Sam Cassell, who is sidelined with a sore back.
