Gelinas began his 31st career two-goal game by snapping a 1-1 tie 7:42 into the second period. It came 88 seconds after defenseman Andrei Zyuzin scored on the power play for Minnesota.

Gelinas capped his second two-goal game of the season on the power play at 7:29 of the third when he knocked in a rebound of Craig Conroy's shot.

In his 20th consecutive start, Turek made 11 saves in the first period and six apiece in the second and third. His best stop came late in the second, when he used his left pad to send Marian Gaborik's snap shot off the goalpost.

Defenseman Toni Lydman also tallied for Calgary, which has recorded three of its five home wins under Sutter.

Andrew Brunette had the other goal for Minnesota, which had a four-game unbeaten streak snapped.
