DALLAS, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Rob DiMaio scored twice and Mike Modano added three assists Sunday night as the Dallas Stars cruised to a 5-2 victory over the Washington Capitals.

Washington backup goaltender Craig Billington allowed three goals on seven shots and was replaced by Olaf Kolzig just 10:13 into the contest, when Dallas already had a 3-1 lead.

Superstar Jaromir Jagr had a goal and an assist for the Capitals, who have lost twice after opening the season with three straight wins.
