Ottawa 4, Minnesota 3 (OT)

ST. PAUL, Minn., March 12 (UPI) -- Magnus Arvedson scored on a slap shot 1:41 into the extra period Tuesday night as the Ottawa Senators completed a break-even road trip with a 4-3 overtime victory over the Minnesota Wild.

Defenseman Zdeno Chara passed from behind the Minnesota net to Arvedson, who held the puck on the outside edge of the right faceoff circle as the 6-6 Chara set a screen in front of Manny Fernandez. Arvedson snapped a shot that trickled past the goaltender for his 11th goal of the season and first game-winner.
