Lynn named Giants def. coordinator

The 45-year-old Lynn spent the last five years as the Giants secondary coach. He helped develop cornerback Jason Sehorn and safety Shaun Williams and successfully incorporated two rookies -- first-round pick Will Allen and third-round pick Will Peterson -- into the group this past season.

Lynn started his coaching career in 1987 with the Arizona Cardinals and served as linebackers and secondary coach there for seven years. He also worked as secondary coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1994-95 and the San Francisco 49ers in 1997.
