BERKELEY, Calif., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Rick Anderson had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Luke Walton added 13 and 11 as No. 18 Arizona posted a 68-58 triumph Thursday over Pac-10 Conference rival California.

Jason Gardner added 17 points for Arizona, which trailed by two in the half but shot 65 percent (13-of-20) in the second half. The win snapped a two-game slide for Arizona and got a tough road trip off on the right foot.

Joe Shipp scored 12 points for California (14-5, 5-4), which had won its first 12 home games this season.
