San Jose 3, Nashville 2

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Teemu Selanne scored twice and a strong defensive effort backed up goaltender Evgeni Nabokov as the San Jose Sharks snapped a four-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over the Nashville Predators Tuesday night.

Selanne's second goal of the game 2:47 into the third period proved to be the game-winner and Nabokov had to make just 14 saves for San Jose's first win since Nov. 14.

Niklas Sundstrom scored his fourth goal in the first period and Vincent Damphousse had two assists for the Sharks, who regained sole possession of first place in the Pacific Division.

Denis Arkhipov and defenseman Andy Delmore each had a goal for Nashville, which is winless in its last six road games (0-5-1-0).
