Missouri had taken a 34-31 lead on a 22-yard interception return for a score by cornerback Carl Ivey midway through the third quarter and a 15-yard touchdown run by Reggie Duncan in the fourth.

It was an eventful day for Farmer, who also threw a 14-yard scoring pass to Justin Gage in the second quarter and a 25-yarder to Marcus James in the third. But Farmer, who was 19 of 32 for 246 yards, also had a pair of his passes picked off and returned for scores.

Zack Abron carried 19 times for 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Tigers, who have won three staight road games for the first time since 1994. Missouri has won twice on the road this year as well as its final away game of 2000.
