MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- The search engine Google honored scientist Marie Curie's 144th birthday Monday with a homepage doodle.
Curie, a two-time Nobel Prize winner credited with discovering radium and polonium, was born in Warsaw, Poland on Nov., 7, 1867. She died in 1934 from excessive exposure to radiation, the American Institute of Physics said.
