WASHINGTON, April 20 (UPI) -- NASA has selected Honeywell Technology Solutions of Columbia, Md., to provide supplier assurance services to various NASA programs and projects.
The services primarily consist of systems safety and mission assurance oversight, but include supplier audits, assessments, review of risk-mitigation plans, technical analysis and related activities.

Officials said the contract will help ensure NASA suppliers meet applicable contract requirements and procedures.
The maximum contract value is $50 million during a 5-year performance period. The contract will be managed from NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland.
