According to a release from TelCove, productivity enhancements enabled through TelCove's VoIP offering include computer-telephone integration (e.g., follow-me services, consolidated e-mail/voice, rules-based voicemail), full integration of remote office or road-warrior applications and simplified multimedia collaboration (conferencing, Web-conferencing/meeting and document sharing).

The company added that enterprises benefit from operational savings through the elimination of inter-site toll usage, consolidation of voice and data communications architectures and management simplification of their common underlying voice/data technology.

"TelCove is uniquely positioned to provide high quality VoIP business services because we own and manage the infrastructure supporting the entire life or stream of the IP call. We install fiber connections directly to customer premises. We have our own IP backbone network. And, we have our own interface to the PSTN. We offer a truly end-to-end solution," said Craig Drinkhall, senior vice president of product development and engineering.
