UN survey predicts robot sales growth

GENEVA, Switzerland, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Growth in worldwide sales of industrial robots is predicted after last year's sharp 17 percent fall, a global industry survey published Thursday predicts. Sales of the robots should increase by an annual average of 7.5 percent, reaching an estimated 104,400 new installations by 2005, the survey said.
