Nov. 19 (UPI) -- After Carolina wide receiver Steve Smith trash-talked injured New England cornerback Aqib Talib by telling him to “ice up, son” during a postgame interview following Panthers win over the Patriots on Monday Night Football, Charlotte-based fast food restaurant Bojangles' got in on the joke on Tuesday.

Smith and Talib went at it multiple times during the game before Talib ended up watching the end of the contest from the sidelines due to a hip injury.

ESPN’s Field Yates reported the incident via Twitter, writing, “Asked if he and Steve Smith talked after the game following heated exchanges early, Aqib Talib says, ‘Hell no. Ain't nothing to talk about.’”

In addition to the #IceUpSon sweet tea campaign, Bojangles' found another way to promote the restaurant following the game.
