Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe May 9 (UPI) -- A Buddhist monk in Thailand discovered he chose the wrong parking spot when a group of monkeys started tearing pieces off his car. A video, recorded outside a Buddhist temple in Thailand, shows the monkeys prodding the car and showing particular interest in the window seals. Advertisement The monkeys, which live at a nearby Hindu shrine, eventually tear off the window seals and start to chew on them. The monk, who took the car damage in stride, said he wasn't angry at the monkeys and he might have been asking for it by parking next to their feeding spot. Monkeys in Thailand are well-known to get up to mischief -- a gang of 100 monkeys famously ransacked a polling place in Tambon Yanyao, Phichit Province, last year. The primates destroyed documents at the location, including five pages of voter lists.
