Gregg Rothburg posted photos to Facebook showing the 150-pound black bear looking in windows Wednesday at the Parkview Inn Hotel in Gatlinburg. "I told people to stay in their car, she was grabbing garbage and dragging it into the corner room and eating it, she looked very hungry," Rothburg told WVLT-TV. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said bears just waking from hibernation are wandering into unusual areas to map out their surroundings. "They're trying to establish a territory, they don't necessarily know where they're going, they're just looking for food," TWRA representative Matt Cameron said. "Bears who have been hibernating most of the winter are pretty hungry when they get up, and there's not a whole lot of natural food available."
