Shopkeeper finds door-shattering vandal was dog pursuing cat

Feb. 23 (UPI) -- A Chinese shopkeeper trying to determine how his glass door was shattered reviewed CCTV footage and discovered the vandal was just a clumsy dog chasing a cat.

A video posted to YouTube by the People's Daily newspaper shows CCTV footage from early Monday afternoon outside of the store.

The video, which the shopkeeper reviewed to identify the suspected vandal who smashed his door, shows one of the shop's glass double-doors is propped open across the sidewalk.

A cat runs past the door, pursued by a dog that collides with the door, causing it to break free of its hinges and fall onto the concrete, shattering.
