Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Police in Texas uploaded security camera footage of a music store thief who walked out of the shop with an entire guitar stuffed down his pants.

The Fort Worth Police Department uploaded a video to YouTube showing the man walk into the Guitar Center store Wednesday and go to a corner, where he shoves a $1,700 Tobacco Sunburst Fender guitar down his pants and uses his puffy vest to help hide the instrument.

Police said they were shocked by the footage.

"I mean who can stuff an entire guitar down their jacket and make it out of the store? It's kind of hard to believe," Officer Tamara Valle told WFAA-TV. "You figure somebody would see it immediately but watch that video."

Police are asking members of the public to come forward if they recognize the man from the footage.
