Kitten survives near miss with car tire on Russian road

NOVOSIBIRSK, Russia, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- A dashboard camera on a car in a Russian city captured a kitten's heart-stopping near miss with the tire of a car that nearly squashed the tiny feline's head.

A video posted to YouTube by user Anastasia Gubaidulina shows the dashcam footage from a car driving on a busy road in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk.

A small kitten runs out into the street and nearly loses its head when it pokes under the tire of a car that begins to move.

A man runs out of the car filming and grabs the kitten, which proceeds to show it is uninjured by climbing on his body.

The man ends up handing the kitten off to a woman in another car.
