Nadya Crossman-Serb shared a photo of the stowaway mouse as it rested on her rearview mirror while the two waited at a red light. Crossman-Serb told the CBC she had a "freak-out" moment when she first discovered the mouse and considered knocking it down, but didn't want to escalate the situation. "So I just left it and we drove home together," she said. Crossman-Serb and the mouse completed their trip in piece, but the tiny hitchhiker became startled and hid when she tried showing off her newfound friend to her family. Not wanting to risk another freak-out encounter, Crossman-Serb's dad sought to trap the mouse and remove it from the car. "He laid a sticky-pad on the [floor] of our car, and it got stuck," she said. "I don't know what he did with it after."
