Australian drone pilot accidentally crashes into his own head

MELBOURNE, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- An Australian drone pilot testing out his skills on some tricky terrain ended up recording an "epic fail" when he crashed into his own head.

The video, posted to YouTube by user fpv hack, shows the Melbourne drone owner trying out his piloting skills in "a new spot."

The pilot shows off his skills by flying the drone under a bridge and through some tree branches, but runs into some trouble after an attempted back flip causes the drone to crash into his own head.

The uploader described the crash as an "epic fail."

"Was trying a new spot today and had to crash into myself," he wrote.
