OROVILLE, Calif., Aug. 22 (UPI) -- A California fisherman captured footage of a majestic bald eagle swooping down to catch a surprised fish in its talons.

Bo Newsom, star of the Wild West Bass Trail show, posted a video to YouTube showing the footage he recorded in California's Lake Oroville.

The video shows a bald eagle swoop down and skim the surface of the water.

The eagle then flies away with its meal in its talons.
