Man cuts down tree to steal locked-up bicycle

CHANGSHA, China, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- A security camera was rolling in a Chinese city when a bike thief foiled the owner's lock by cutting down the tree where the bike was secured.

The video, recorded by a CCTV camera in Changsha, Hunan Province, shows a man using a saw on a tree Monday night.

The tree eventually falls, allowing the man to take the bicycle that was locked to the plant.

The man is seen fleeing with the bicycle on a motorcycle.
