An Arizona Human Society Emergency Animal Medical Technician rescued a 5-week-old kitten that had been trapped underneath a manhole for three days. The kitten was taken to an animal hospital and determined to be in good health despite only weighing one pound.

Human society workers monitored the kitten and sent food down the manhole throughout the three days, as they awaited help from the City of Phoenix to access the city lines underneath the roads.
The female kitten was named Tera and taken to the Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital where she was determined to be in good health despite only weighing one pound.
